BIOGRAPHY of Chief Priest Awiise Ifayemi Elebuibon:

Chief Ifáyemí is a world traveler and custodian of the culture, religion, and philosophy of the Yorùbá's. He brings a very deep and broad knowledge about the religious, cultural, and philosophical life of this great science. Chief Ifáyemí Elebuìbon was born in Òsogbo, Òsun State, Nigeria and is a direct descendant of Olutimehin,
cofounder of the city of Òsogbo. He comes from a royal family acclaimed to be one of the authorities on Yorùbá traditional institutions and began his priesthood training at the age of four. Chief Ifayemi is a recording artist with several credits on Yorùbá poetical genre known as Ewi. He is also a poet, performing artist, author, playwright, and herbalist. His traditional morality drama, "Ifá Olókun Asòròdayò" was a popular weekly Nigerian television series. He has authored and published numerous books, scholarly papers and videos on various aspects of the Yorùbá traditional religion and culture in English and Yorùbá.

He is the founder of Ancient Philosophy International Institute in Òsogbo, Nigeria, a research center he dedicated to teaching African traditional religion and the performing arts. His numerous awards and recognition's include lifetime achievement chieftaincy as the Awiise of Òsogbo, a title that elevated him to a venerated position in the priesthood hierarchy and Atáyéro Asa by the Obáfemi Awólówó University, Ilé Ifé, Nigeria, for his contributions to renascent traditional scholarship.
